Day 98: Pre-Settlement Walk-thru

We met the PM this morning and did our pre-settlement demonstration.

Lots of information exchanged.  He went over maintenance, warranties, features, etc.  Most of the info is in the book they give you but some was above and beyond.

We marked small discrepancies as we went through and those will be worked off between today and tomorrow.  Mostly drywall and paint.  There are so many walls in this place, it would be hard not to have these little things.  Basically, there was nothing I saw that concerned me.  The house looked great and is ready for its new owners.

On the Horizon:
- Closing Friday...and move in.

Ceiling fans finally installed. Those are 4' Down Rods for anyone who
might be wondering.

This border really turned out nice.
Have been getting lots of comments form other
RH employees on this as they pass through.

Were starting to see some grass sprout up

  2. Wow! Your home looks just dreamy! There is not one thing that I don't love. The picture of the kitchen showing the granite, cabinets, and floor is awesome - the dark HW really makes the granite work well. Congrats and best wishes!

    1. Thanks. It's hard to believe that a bunch of "x"s on a stack of legal papers (a master selection) list could eventually look like this. We just had no way to really visualize this house with no reference. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

    1. The two story spaces were what led us to this model. We wanted these spaces but wanted good sized bedrooms too. We are very happy with all the natural light. It's beautiful.

    1. Thanks. We may fall off the grid for a day or to while we try to find the basics in a pile of boxes but we will surface again. Good luck with your home, it's really a crown jewel.

  6. Beautiful beautiful house! Congrats!!!
It's got one big thing that I had to compromised on, the two story living room. I absolutely love it. The open stairs and whole set up is gorgeous!
